Peer Support Digital Inclusion Project - New support to get people online The Digital Inclusion Project, supported by The Good Things Foundation, is focused on the benefits that digital confidence can bring when you get the right support and training. Many people understand the need to get involved with digital activities, but are fearful of getting started, due to previous experience (or lack of this), the negative impact of non-specialist approaches or simply never being offered support in the right place at the right time. Our delivery includes a range of options for participants, all of which are free and based upon your specific needs, interests and aspirations. Within the new Digital Inclusion Project, we offer 1 to 1 support, peer support and workshops covering different subjects connected with using computers and the internet, to make your life easier and to help you gain the benefits of the internet safely and securely: Getting started with computers - setting up an email address, using the internet Setting up social media accounts (Facebook and Twitter) and blogging Online safety CVs, job search and employment Peer support Using Microsoft packages to create documents This free project is working across our patch, starting in Bedford and then moving into Central Beds, Luton and Milton Keynes.
