Mind BLMK launches its new Ambassadors scheme, giving people new opportunities to get involved.

At the start of the new year, Mind BLMK is launching a new scheme, offering new ways for people to get involved. In response to people asking us how they can support the work we do, the new Ambassador role will work within our local communities, raising awareness, helping to reduce stigma and providing information about Mind BLMK, mental health and wellbeing and support that is around to help people.

Mind BLMK has been supporting local people since 1978 and is an essential option offered when people are struggling. We can only do what we do with the support of our communities and this is where our Ambassadors can help.

We get asked to take part in dozens of events every year - we want to be there, offering information, raising awareness and helping to break the stigma of mental ill health. But, as a charity, we can only do so much.

Mind BLMK's Ambassadors will support us by promoting our work as widely as possible and encouraging more people to support Mind BLMK. They will be committed to our cause and to raising awareness of mental health problems.

If this is something that you would be interested in, we will provide training and support and a great team to work with. Your commitment will be as much or as little as you are able to offer - it may be that you support one event a year, or provide a regular weekly or monthly session.
