Writing Through Heritage Languages as a Therapy for Wellbeing Would you like to participate in a project which involves sharing a journey of your own heritage and experiences? Mind BLMK is looking for individuals aged over 18 with bi/multilingual backgrounds to take part in a new heritage language writing project. By attending the project, which has been designed to help you create and write your own story of your journey through your heritage, you will be able to create, share and publish your own book. Participants will be able to share information about their own heritage with other people on the project, as well as receiving support from our experienced staff and volunteers through all the steps of the project. On completion, you will receive your own published story book and a certificate in Creative Local History. We have been awarded funding from the Heritage Lottery fund to deliver this project in partnership with the University of Bedfordshire at their Polhill Avenue Campus in Bedford. The course starts on Friday, April 28th and runs for two hours each week between 10am and 12pm. If you would like to find out more, please click HERE for more detailed information. If you would like to take part, please contact Jeanette Skipsey by email on firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone on 0300 330 0635.
