BBO Support into Employment project is to support  those who are unable to find work to overcome their barriers to move into, or closer to, paid employment. The funding for the project is provided by the Big Lottery and the European Social Fund.

Our Support into Employment project offers a specialist tailored package to unemployed adults facing mental health problems (or Carers living in Milton Keynes or Cherwell) by addressing and tackling some of the issues faced when thinking about work. A dedicated adviser from Mind BLMK will provide support and guidance during the duration of the programme. Depending on need support may include:

  • Workshops
  • Training
  • 1:1 support
  • Signposting to appropriate organisations
  • Career planning, job readiness, interview skills, Universal Job Match

Eligibility Criteria - you must be an adult experiencing mental health problems out of work and actively seeking employment, a UK resident living in either Luton, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Aylesbury Vale or Cherwell, and eligible to work in the EU.

Alternatively, if you are a carer living in Milton Keynes or Cherwell and meet the eligibility criteria you can also get involved.
