Mind BLMK offers support across the Central Bedfordshire area. These are both wellbeing interventions that look at things that can affect your mental health and wellbeing and peer support sessions that help people to develop new skills.

Mind Matters groups offer discussion groups covering any topics relating to mental health including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, self-confidence, goal setting and more! The group provides support in a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space to discuss your mental wellbeing. Alongside workshops, we provide a range of activities, such as walking groups, self-led art activities, pyrography and a drop in service. Spaces are limited on some sessions, so there may be a waiting list or some sessions that are full.

Peer Support Service

Peer Support groups offer a safe space for people to share their own mental health experience and recovery journey and feel heard and supported by others. The groups will be led by a Peer Support Worker with lived experience of mental health and built-on shared personal experience and empathy with a focus on working towards wellbeing and recovery.  The groups will operate in Bedford and across Central Bedfordshire. To find out more, please click here.

Peer Mentoring is a goal orientated one-to-one service. People will work with one of our trained mentors – all of whom have a lived experience of mental health challenges – to plan and carry out steps towards achieving goals to enhance their wellbeing or address a particular challenge they are facing such as improving social confidence, using public transport, accessing education, voluntary work, and employment.
