Update: If you or someone you know needs support with their mental health, we are still here for you. Our support will be offered remotely and from 25 March 2020, if you are based in Milton Keynes and would like to talk to someone, please contact us on 01525 722 225 or e-mail [email protected]
Due to high demand and current limited capacity, at this time we are only able to offer a small number of free counselling sessions for those that are eligible. We hope to be increasing capacity shortly, so please keep an eye on our website for further details.
Mind BLMK has been providing counselling for over 40 years and is a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Counselling provides a safe confidential space to talk about difficulties and events in life.
Our trained counsellors will encourage you to talk about your feelings and emotions and will listen and support you without judging or criticising. They can help you to gain a better understanding of your feelings and thought processes, and to find your own solutions to problems; they won’t usually give advice or tell you what to do.
Counselling can help with a wide range of issues such as bereavement, relationship breakdown, stress depression and anxiety. It can also help to explore events from the past and to develop a better understand of yourself and other issues that you may be experiencing.
