Mind BLMK has been providing counselling for over 40 years and is a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Counselling provides a safe confidential space to talk about difficulties and events in life. At your appointment, you’ll be encouraged to talk about your feelings and emotions with a trained therapist, who’ll listen and support you without judging or criticising.
The therapist can help you to gain a better understanding of your feelings and thought processes, and to find your own solutions to problems; they won’t usually give advice or tell you what to do.
Counselling can help with a wide range of issues such as bereavement, relationship breakdown, stress depression and anxiety. It can also help to explore events from the past and to develop a better understand of yourself and other issues that you may be experiencing.
