Our Crisis Café in Milton Keynes is now open for face to face appointments, available Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm - 11pm.
Crisis Cafe's are a safe, non-judgmental spaces that you can come to if you find yourself in crisis or mental distress in the evenings. You will be met by a trained mental health worker, who will listen and help you identify ways to address the problems you are facing.
The Crisis Café are for adults (18+) based in Milton Keynes, who are experiencing severe mental distress or crisis.
What to expect:
- A safe, calm and relaxed atmosphere
- A one-to-one session with a trained mental health worker
- Support to identify positive mental health coping strategies
- Advice and guidance about other support services available in your area

We know that this month has been a difficult time for many, so we wanted to share some ideas with you today, that will hopefully make you feel good and start your week off in the right way.
Firstly, there's no wrong or right way of doing these activities, you can pick one from our list or maybe you have something of your own that you might like to do?
Here's some ideas for things that you can do today -
1. Do some light stretching, it's important to keep your body moving, particularly if you're sitting down for long periods of time.
2. Step outside and into nature, spending time in green space or bringing nature into your everyday life can benefit both your mental and physical wellbeing.
3. Play your favourite video game, take some down time today to play your favourite video game.
4. Spend some time reading, there is nothing more satisfying than when you reach the end of your book and get to start a new one.
5. Phone a friend or family member, check in with someone today to see how they are and let them know how you are.
Dedicate some time to your activity, so that you can ensure you enjoy it properly without any additional stresses or worries. Remember this isn't a challenge and is just something we hope will brighten up your day.
