MK Marathon 2025
The multi-award-winning Milton Keynes Marathon Weekend takes place during the early May Bank Holiday weekend.
Join thousands at Buckinghamshire’s MOST POPULAR weekend of running. Conquer the Rocket 5k on the Sunday, and either the Half Marathon or Marathon on the Bank Holiday Monday.
We would ask runners to:
- Raise funds by the method of their choice.
- Set up a Just Giving page for online giving.
- We would really like runners to share training updates with us on social media, tagging @mindblmk or supply Mind BLMK with photo updates which we can share to our social media channels.
- If you have any other special skills or experience that might benefit the rest of the group of runners, please speak up!
We will provide all Mind BLMK MK Marathon Weekend runners with:
- Support with promoting fundraising events on Mind BLMK’s social media channels.
- Fundraising guidance, tips and resources.
- Support with setting up a Just Giving page.
- A Mind BLMK T-shirt
Please note, once you have filled out the form below, we will send you a bespoke code to enter on the MK Marathon website for your free space.
Terms and Conditions:
To run in one of these events, you will need to be able to raise a minimum of:
- Rocket 5k – £100
- Half-Marathon – £250
- Marathon – £300
By completing an application for a Mind BLMK place in one of the MK Marathon Weekend races, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Places are highly sought after, so please read the following carefully.
General
- You participate in the MK Marathon Weekend entirely at your own risk. Mind BLMK is not liable for any injury or loss which you may incur because of your participation in the event.
- Mind BLMK reserves the right to amend or change these Terms and Conditions at any point. In this case, all confirmed runners will be informed and given the most recent version of these Terms and Conditions.
Participation
- You must be 18 years old by Race Day to participate in this event.
- If you sustain an injury during training, please contact Mind BLMK. It is important that you do not take part in your race unless you are completely fit to do so. Deferrals are decided on an individual basis. If Mind BLMK decides you may defer, you must agree to abide by all Terms and Conditions that Mind BLMK publishes for the subsequent event. This includes any increase in the amount of sponsorship money you pledge to raise.
- All participants running on one of Mind BLMK’s charity places agree that images, audio and video taken during training or on the day may be used by Mind BLMK to promote the MK Marathon Weekend in the future.
- If you decide not to run in the MK Marathon Weekend – or decide to run for another charity – you must inform Mind BLMK immediately.
- By taking part in the MK Marathon Weekend for Mind BLMK, you consent to Mind BLMK contacting you via phone, letter or email for any communications in relation to your fundraising or participation in the event.
- You understand that through your participation, Mind BLMK will have to share your information with the MK Marathon Weekend office to ensure your participation in the event.
- Race cancellation will align with MK Marathon’s Terms and Conditions and Mind BLMK will not be responsible for reimbursement of funds in the race does not go ahead. A minimum donation of £70 may still need to be paid to Mind BLMK .
Fundraising
- Mind BLMK has a limited number of charity places. To apply for one of these places to run in one of the MK Marathon Weekend 2025 races for Mind BLMK, you pledge to raise a declared sponsorship as follows: Rocket 5k – £100; Half-Marathon – £250; Marathon – £300 or more to Mind BLMK by 30th June 25.
- Cancellations made before February 21st 2025 can be withdrawn free of charge. If a withdrawal occurs after this date or if the fundraising target is not met by June 30th, 2025, a £70 fee will be payable to Mind BLMK.
- Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. If you are allocated a Mind BLMK charity place then you agree to fundraise only for Mind BLMK. If you set up a Just Giving page or any other online giving page, 100% of your fundraising must be for Mind BLMK.
- Any existing regular donations which you make to Mind BLMK do not form part of the total raised through sponsorship.
- Mind BLMK will advise you on the recommended way(s) to pay in your sponsorship. This is to ensure that Mind BLMK can easily trace funds that you pay in.
- Payment deadline for the full minimum sponsorship is 30th June 2025. If you need more time to collect sponsorship, please let Mind BLMK know in advance of this date. All charities inform the MK Marathon Weekend organisers if someone does not fulfil their pledge.
- Any monies received by Mind BLMK under the Gift Aid scheme (or any other charity tax scheme) do not count towards the total value of the sponsorship raised.
- Mind BLMK may withdraw your place at any point if it considers that you are unwilling or unable to raise the minimum sponsorship amount.
