Time to Talk Day 2024

Time to Talk Day 2024

1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem in any given year. And the cost of living crisis is only making it harder to look after our mental health – the poorest fifth of the population are twice as likely to develop a mental health problem.

Time to Talk Day is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation. Happening every year, it’s a day for friends, families, communities, and workplaces to come together to talk, listen and change lives.

Volunteer with Mind BLMK in 2024

Fancy a new venture for the new year? We’re looking for likeminded individuals to join Team Mind BLMK to help support positive mental health and wellbeing across Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes.

Volunteers are a key part of our workforce and without them many of our services would cease to exist.

The day is a family event for all and we have lots planned, including a Christmas market (hosted in Shuttleworth House), Santa’s grotto, live music, festive carols, a wellbeing area (in collaboration with Safer Central Beds), food/drink and lots of festive fun!

World Mental Health Day 2023

World Mental Health Day 2023

Every year we celebrate World Mental Health Day on 10 October. The theme for 2023, set by the World Federation of Mental Health, is ‘Mental health is a universal human right’.

World Mental Health Day is about raising awareness of mental health and driving positive change for everyone’s mental health. It’s a chance to talk more openly about mental health and where people can reach out for help if they’re struggling.
