Join Mind BLMK on 15th May 2026 for a lunch and learn webinar via TEAMS in the support of mental health.
The challenges faced by many people in England include sustained cost of living crisis, NHS pressures, and a sluggish economy. Rising food and fuel prices, combined with increased tax burdens and high interest rates, are squeezing household incomes. Additionally, our country faces a housing shortage, high rent costs, and a tightening labour market. This in-turn adds rising stress and can lead to mental health difficulties. At this time, it is essential to take care of our health and wellbeing and to take notice of actions we can take in support of mental health.
2026- Action
MHA week 2026’s theme of ‘Action’ focuses on moving beyond awareness to practical steps for better mental health. It emphasises human-centred care, aiming to ensure no mind is left behind, highlighting the need for mental health support.
