What is the aim of the course?
The Healthy Minds project aims to support individuals with mild to moderate mental health problems through specially designed courses delivered by trained and experienced staff.
Wellbeing 6 week Courses
This programme is comprised of one session each week, for six weeks. Some programmes offer two hour sessions, other three hour sessions.
Delivered in small groups, the sessions are diverse and aim to meet the needs of all participants. Each programme is intended to provide participants with emotional and practical tools to use and support their everyday life and wellbeing.
What will I learn?
- Week 1: Building self-esteem and confidence.
- Week 2: Stress and anxiety.
- Week 3: Anger awareness.
- Week 4: Sleep.
- Week 5: Food and mood, Exercise and wellbeing.
- Week 6: Mindfulness.
Dates, times and locations:
Location: Bedford and Dunstable
Bedford – Tuesdays, 11 June to 16 July – 11.00 pm to 2.00 pm.
Dunstable – Mondays, 3 June to 8 July – 9.30 to 12.30 pm.

Criteria for a fully-funded place
Participants must be economically inactive
