Recovery Worker - Luton

Hours: 21 hours per week – (Mon, Wed, Thur & Fri)
Location: Luton
This role offers the opportunity to join our service team at Luton. Based at our Wellbeing Centre in Dumfries Street we offer activities and groups throughout the day enabling service users to manage their mental health and move through their recovery journeys. In addition to this the role will involve assessing suitability for the service and signposting where necessary as well as performing 1-1 meetings with clients periodically in order to assess and create action plans.

Peer Support Worker - Older Adults

We are searching for new Peer Support Workers with lived experience to join our new Older Adults peer support service. The role involves performing one to one meetings and facilitating peer support groups. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the recovery journey needed to improve mental health and wellbeing for older adults. Our peer support and recovery services are a key element of the services we offer, and we are looking for someone who can use their own lived experiences to provide support to help individuals achieve their goals. Mind BLMK is searching for a fixed term Peer Mentor Facilitator to join our mental health services. The role of a peer mentor facilitator will be to help with the smooth running of the Mind BLMK mentoring service and act as a mentor to service users. The ideal candidate will understand the recovery journey through a goal setting approach to improve mental health and wellbeing. The role will be part of a larger Young Person’s Crisis team made up of Youth Mental Health Workers, Team Leaders and volunteers.

Community Connector (Mental Health Resilience Worker) Dunstable

Salary: £24,000.00 per annum
Hours: 37.0 hours per week
Location: Dunstable
This role will involve working as part of a multi-disciplinary team with statutory, third sector and NHS colleagues to support clients who are suffering from moderate to severe mental health difficulties. You will need to have experience working with those suffering with mental health illness as well as being able to demonstrate in depth knowledge of the services, support networks and local resources that may assist in improved outcomes for those dealing with complex and enduring mental health issues.
The ability to be adaptable, work independently and the resilience to work in some challenging environments are key attributes for this role.
