At Mind BLMK, we encourage our members to take part in as many activities as they need to support their mental health and well-being.
We offer a safe, non-judgmental space to take part in group activities, chat with others over a cuppa, play a game, read a book, or just sit quietly over some mindful colouring. Our sessions are facilitated by our recovery workers who can also provide information about other services available locally and on ways to support your well-being.
During the week we have a number of groups and activities held within the centre. During covid, some of these activities had to be put on hold but we are pleased to say we have now been able to slowly bring back some of the most popular activities including a new book club, self-led art activities, mindfulness, walking group and games and puzzles, including reopening the pool table. We also have separate men’s and women’s groups on a Friday.
Planning is underway for more activities to return over the coming months, and into 2023, including some one-off special activities, topic focussed workshops, tutor-led arts and crafts and our popular yoga sessions. Watch this space for more details!
