Mind BLMK Amazon Christmas Wishlist
We have put together an Amazon Wishlist of gifts to support our tombola and raffle at our Mental Elf Fundraising Event on Sunday 10th December. Our major fundraising event ‘Mental Elf’ 5K run is just around the corner. This event is to raise general awareness and vital funds to help support our mental health and wellbeing services in Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes.
The day is a family event for all and we have lots planned, including a Christmas market (hosted in Shuttleworth House), Santa’s grotto, live music, festive carols, a wellbeing area (in collaboration with Safer Central Beds), food/drink and lots of festive fun!

On Wednesday 18th October, we had our 2023 Annual General Meeting at The Rufus Centre to celebrate our successes from the past financial year and look forward to our plans for the next one.
Thank you to everyone who came along to our AGM last week. It was great to see lots of familiar faces and lots of new ones from our organisation, our partners and externally from the voluntary and community sector, all striving for positive mental health and wellbeing in Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes.

World Mental Health Day is about raising awareness of mental health and driving positive change for everyone’s mental health. It’s a chance to talk more openly about mental health and where people can reach out for help if they’re struggling.

We are hosting our biggest fundraising event on Sunday 10th December, and to make it a magical event for all, we need your help!
Mental Elf, a 5km fun run, was created by Lancashire Mind in 2014 and traditionally takes place on the last weekend in November or the first weekend in December each year.
A unique event which focuses on bringing people together, not only to fundraise, but to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing. It promotes the benefits of physical activity, connecting people and doing something to help others.

Mind BLMK are delighted to be working collaboratively with CAMHS and East London Foundation Trust (ELFT) across Luton, Central Bedfordshire and Bedford, to provide crisis services for young people in need of mental health support.
This new provision in Sandy (at the Sandy and Biggleswade Locality Children’s Centre) follows the successful launch of our Young Person’s Sanctuary in Luton, Bedford, Houghton Regis and Leighton Buzzard earlier this year and it will offer help and advice for anyone between 14-17yrs.
