Mind BLMK works across Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes which together have a population of nearly 900,000 people. With 1 in 4 people experiencing a mental health difficulty each year, that’s nearly 225,000 people in our area.
We want to be able to help as many as possible because mental health issues affect us all. Whether it’s you, someone in your family, a friend or a colleague, the impact can be really hard to manage. Mind BLMK is here to offer support when it’s needed, in your local area. Supporting people across Bedfordshire, Luton, and Milton Keynes, we are truly at the heart of our communities.
Although affiliated to Mind nationally, we’re an independent charity, responsible for raising our own funds so every penny you raise on our behalf allows us to continue the vital work we do to support people’s mental health and wellbeing locally.
Organise an event to raise money for Mind BLMK. Are you a budding comedian, singer, or baker? Could you run a marathon, arrange a virtual quiz or dinner party, or take on a 24 hour gameathon? If you think you could organise an event to help us raise money- big or small- get in touch with us and let us know!
For many people, holding their own fundraising event is a great way of taking on a personal challenge, having fun and raising money for Mind BLMK. There are lots of ideas for what you could do and we’re able to support you every step of the way. You can set up your own events, campaigns and fundraising page via our Just Giving page and this will make sure that all monies raised will come directly to us.
