Case Study
Since graduating from university a few years ago, I had not been able to find any sustainable employment. This, alongside the fact that I suffered from physical health issues and anxiety meant that I had no idea where to go next. During my time on the Support into Employment project I was able to create a CV, attend a healthy aspirations course and explore benefit options. Once my confidence increased throughout the one-to-one sessions, I decided to follow my passion for animals and applied for some volunteer work at a local cattery. As a result, I was offered some part-time work and also started some volunteer work at a charity shop. I have now started driving lessons and I am hoping this will broaden my career options outside my town. My confidence has vastly improved which I can now use as a stepping stone for any future progression.
