Mind BLMK have been kindly chosen as Charity of the Year at this year’s Flitton Potato Race alongside Noah Enterprise, Primrose Car Service (Bedford Hospital Charity) and Doddie Foundation (MND).
We are putting together teams made up of our wonderful staff members and corporate clients to take part in the Flitton potato race, to raise vital funds for Mind BLMK.
We work closely with a range of partners, we offer a number of activities from our wellbeing centre’s and local venues to make a difference to the mental health and wellbeing of people in Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes, and our aim is to make sure that no-one has to face a mental health problem alone.
If you like to support us then you can donate to our Just Giving Page, where each donation will make a huge difference to supporting positive mental health and wellbeing in Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes. All donations made will go into an accumulative total to be split between ourselves and all chosen charities.
If you’d like to participate in the Potato Race individually or in your own group, then you can sign up to the race HERE and share our Just Giving page to help raise funds.
But, we can appreciate times are tough at the moment so if you’re not able to donate at this time, why not share our Facebook Event page and shout about us to your friends and family. Or come along for a day of fun on Sunday 11th June and cheer us on. The race will finish at the White Hart pub (whoop!) and in the field behind the pub, there will also be attractions, stalls, food and entertainment.
We will also be having ourown stand in the field behind the pub to promote services and tell people what we do.
We extremely appreciate all levels of support.
Be sure to keep an eye out on our social media to see how we get on!
