Hope in a Changing Landscape β Mind BLMK 2022 AGM
Mind BLMK AGM 2022 – Hope in a Changing Landscape
On Thursday, 3rd November, Mind BLMK held its third virtual AGM via teams.
The theme this year wasΒ βππ¨π©π π’π§ π ππ‘ππ§π π’π§π πππ§ππ¬πππ©πβ as we looked back and reflected on the challenges from the pandemic and the glimmers of hope as people started to re-connect and regain the factors and relationships that support their mental health and wellbeing.
Chief Executive Officer, Caroline Lewis said:
“This year provided a chance to start moving on from the challenges from the pandemic that the previous two years brought, with lockdowns that had such an effect on the ways we worked and tested the emotional resilience of our communities.
In addition, we saw considerable growth and development in the organisation which allowed Mind BLMK to provide a wider range of options to support our communities, but also opportunities to work and volunteer for us.”
There were some inspiring stories and presentations from both staff and our clients, and weβd like to say a huge thank you to all our trustees and everyone who joined us on this very important day.
It is thanks to our dedicated staff and supporters, that Mind BLMK is able to continue providing their crucial services across Bedfordshire, Luton, and Milton Keynes, to improve the mental health and well-being of their local communities and ensure that no-one has to face a mental health problem alone.
