Kushaal – The Queens Park Ladies Group
The Queens Park Over 55s ladies group was in full swing this week with a visit from Sadia of Beauty Lounge Bedford who kindly donated her time to come and give the ladies relaxing hand massages. We can’t thank Sadia enough! There were also some amazing homemade pakoras and samosas that had been brought in to accompany our normal tea coffee and biscuits. It was a great afternoon, with lots of chatting and laughter. We are seeing the numbers increase weekly with the group and we are always so delighted to welcome new faces!
It costs £1 each week which helps contribute to room hire, refreshments and any activities planned. We run every Wednesday 12.15 – 1.15 pm in term time only. Most weeks are at the Community Centre on Marlborough Road, but occasionally we will meet at the wonderful café round the corner on Iddlesleigh Road – Chaa Sha. In fact this is where we will be meeting next week (3rd October)! Come along for an hour to have a drink and snack (the weekly £1 will cover this) and enjoy the fantastic atmosphere the café has to offer with some friendly faces. The following week we will back at the Community Centre where we will be joined by Sadia once more to enjoy some foot massages.
